As a filmmaker since 2006, I’ve had the privilege of traveling the globe telling amazing stories within the Oil & Gas industry, Foreign Missions, Health, Education, Technology and others. Video production and photography are my passion and I have been fortunate to have these opportunities. Multimedia is an incredibly powerful tool, quite effective in promoting brands and ideas. My goal has always been to create content that engages the audience, articulates with brevity and exceeds my own expectations and that of my clients. I love spending time with my family, playing music, soccer, mountain biking and going to the gym whether it is to lift weights or challenge myself in a cardio-kickboxing class. Being active and fit is crucial to performing the work I do as often there can be physical demands depending on the type of shoot location, e.g., mountainous terrain, drilling sites, distance, heat and the amount of gear required etc. As I often like to say, “It’s not all glamorous making movies…sometimes there’s actual work involved.”
A good friend suggested I post a photo of myself that somehow conveys I’m a fun guy to work with. I’m not sure this is what he had in mind. I’ll see myself out. Douglas
